Mother Daughter Team
Carolyn Thurman started Fantastic Alteration over 60 years ago in Kansas, where her professional work and customer care earned her multiple recognition throughout her community.
Kelly Wheaton moved to Michigan to start her family many years ago and continued her mothers legacy and skills by opening her own shop.
Kelly’s business grew earning her community acknowledgement by being voted Favorite Tailor twice. Her expertise for Prom & Wedding dress alterations has become well known in the area, and her growing customer list and referrals are just one testament of her success.
It came time for Carolyn to make the big move to Michigan and join her daughter in her shop part time. Kelly’s children are grown and on their own, so now was the perfect time for the mother daughter team to focus on one shop.
Together they offer their customers over 100 years of combine expertise. Their customer service and love for what they do shows in everything they do.
